Our patented technology was developed in the Campbell Labs at the University of Waterloo.
We use polarized light to image the retina.
Each polarizer rotates in four steps, 0, 30, 45, and 60 degrees, and an image is scanned for each combination. These images are then processed with assistance from our AI algorithms to find and analyze any protein deposits.
Amyloid beta 42 retinal deposit
The number, shape, size, and location of the deposits indicate the type of protein and the degree of severity.
Alpha-synuclein retinal deposit
